Meeska Mooska Mickey Towel!

As a Disney kid, growing up, Mickey Mouse was a symbol of happiness to me. He still is. The sight of me finding anything with Mickey/Minnie on it in stores is a sight to behold; my face lights up and so does my heart. Now that I have nieces and a nephew in the family, and I'm 'supposed' to be the grown up *rolls eyes*, I often find that Mickey/Minnie merch ends up being bought for them instead of myself. That's fine with me, because ultimately it comes home to me anyway ... heeheehee! Sometimes, though, it is personal stuff which I cannot 'share' with my Bubbsies. You know, like bedsheets for their rooms or towels. TOWELS.

One fine day, we came across a beautiful red Mickey Mouse towel. I swear, I was eyeing it for myself and considering the possibility of walking back to the cart with it, when I realized mama was actually getting it for Gubby. *Laughs* I kept the considered possibilities to myself and we got one for Gubby and came home. Finally, the day came when we gifted it to her. I was still eyeing it of course, and in that very moment I decided I would buy one for myself. Hmph! Who decides the appropriate age for owning Mickey towels anyway? Hmph. Like I'd follow those standards! Pshaw.

I want Mickey towel. I get Mickey towel. So I got Mickey towel.

It is so adorable! It's a gorgeous red and black with cute Mickey and Minnie posing all along the edge on one side of the towel. My favorite part is how they've done the Mickey and Minnie shapes all over the towel, instead of leaving it plain. It did not come with a hand towel though so I ended up having to buy one. Of course, I got myself a yellow one to pair with Mickey and Minnie's red and black. Mama thought I was having some moment of cognitive incoherence and having trouble matching things. But I told her yellow, red, and black are so Mickey! It was perfect! Just perfect!

The good side of the towel is obviously the Mickey and Minnie design. It's like having a minnie piece of Disney in my bathroom (did you notice what I did?) ... beautiful! The towel is also so so so soft. It's like wrapping yourself in a hug. There is just one issue though, which I'm hoping will resolve soon ... LINT. The towel shed everywhere the first time I used it! Hahahahahahaha! I have washed it a second time now and it didn't look like it shed in the washer but time shall tell!

Either way, lint or not, I love my towel! It looks beautiful in my bathroom and anything Disney is always magical! Meeska Mooska Mickeeyyyyyy towel!!!! Hahaha!

UPDATE: I washed it a second time and the lint issue is almost all gone. I think a wash or two will fix it! Yayyyyyyyy!
