The Godric Gryffindor Sword By The Noble Collection - MINE!

I do take immense pride in my beautiful Harry Potter collection and every single piece is very near and dear to my heart, that's true. Though sometimes there is that collectible that you just have those special heart eyes for. That one replica that is just so stunning it is on the verge of disbelief. You know, that ONE piece? Yes. That one. The ultimate grail of your Harry Potter collection. The one you can't imagine ever getting checked off your wish list. The one you can't believe you have ordered. The one you can't fathom unboxing and finally FINALLY owning it. THAT ONE. Yes. Well, come January 2023 ... I got my Potterific grail!

The Sword of Gryffindor. The authentic life-sized replica. The official one by The Noble Collection. Potterheads, I finally finally finally own the Sword of Gryffindor. To be honest, I've had it for more than two months and I still can't completely believe I actually own it. I wake up every morning, look at my collection, and see it hanging on the wall right next to my Gryffindor tapestry, and just can't believe it. For a very long time I had had it on my wish list but had never admitted that I wanted to own it. It was just one of those major collectors' items that I dared not dream of, you know? Did I already say how I'm still in disbelief?!

It all happened because of Abbie. Yes. Lets blame it on her! *laughs* It was her birthday and I had decided I would do it ... I would get her the sword. She'd never agree on spending that much if I asked her, especially because I'd already convinced her into getting the very beautiful Marauders Map Secret Lab chair. So I had to do it secretly. I ordered her sword after spending the most indecisive two months of my life. On her birthday in November the sword was out of stock so my indecision lasted all through December and into the next year. Finally, it was back in stock and on its way to my place for Abbie to be stunned out of her senses and stunned she was. She couldn't believe what I'd done, what I'd gotten her. It was priceless to see her face when she unboxed the sword. Then, I saw it. I touched it. I hadn't planned on buying it for myself at all; it was supposed to be Abbie's and that's all. I had planned that there would be one sword in our house in Abbie's room and I'd go and look at it and love it there. But it all changed when it fell into my hands.

Next thing I knew, another one was shipping to my place. There was a minor hiccup involved because when mine arrived it was damaged. The wooden plaque it is affixed to had some dents, chips, and damages and one of the stones on the sword was all weird and the velvety back was all scuffed up. I had a mini heart attack upon seeing that and immediately contacted Noble Collection about it. Meanwhile, I posted about it on Insta where the awesome Potterheads all came together to calm me down and tell me it would all be fine because they had really good customer service. They did, indeed! Noble Collection responded very quickly and I was given a free return shipping label. Unfortunately, the sword was now out of stock and on backorder so they told me I would have to wait till it came back in stock which wasn't expected for months. I was so sad. It had almost fallen into my hands and then my heart was broken. Then I got another email and I was told one was to arrive at their warehouse and it was being shipped to me immediately. THE HAPPINESS! This time it arrived in perfect condition looking stunning as ever!

Then skip to the good part ... I HAVE THE SWORD! It hangs on my wall and it looks beautiful! It is gorgeous. Like, REALLY gorgeous. The sword has an air of magnificent magic about it. The red shines and sparkles as it catches the light, the silver hilt with all the engraved intricacies looks sleek and glorious. Even the brown case it comes with is a stunner, lending the most elegant vibes to the entire look of this stunning replica. I'm just in awe. How can something be so beautiful? And how can something so beautiful be mine?!

I am telling you, I will forever have heart eyes for this one. Noble Collection you did this replica justice. So beautiful and such brilliant high quality. Now to everyone reading, I think I'll say goodbye. You can find me right here, still staring at my sword in disbelief, whenever you come back to my blog! The Potterific heart of this Potterhead is HAPPY!

*HEART EYES*
