The Gel Pens of My Dreams ~ Paper Mate InkJoy

I knew it when it happened. A golden ray of light shined from the heavens above. It illuminated the scene in front of me. A gush of wind blew out of nowhere and an invisible happy force of joy enwreathed me. I had met the gel pens of my dreams. It was a match made in heaven ...

Okay, on a serious not-so-dramatic note, I have found gel pens that I have fallen in love with. In my defense there is a happy force of JOY ... I'm talking about the Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pens! Get it? Force of Joy ... InkJoy ... get it? Hahaaaaaa. Okay, I feel very proud of that absolutely nonsensical pun/joke I just cracked. *cool face*


The Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pens are honestly one of the smoothest gel pens I have come across in a while. I have a love affair with gel pens. I strangely find myself somehow standing in the gel pens aisle whenever I go out shopping. I don't always buy them but even looking at them is just so heart-soothing. Actually no, scratch that (with a smooth gel pen ... another of those puns *cool face*) ... it isn't heart-soothing but in fact it makes my heart race. I feel tingling in my arms as I long to reach out and just fill my cart with all the possible gel pens I can get my hands on. Now, I'm a good girl of course, so I resist, get a grip on my racing heart, and walk away. But when my previous gel pens finally started showing signs of finishing (heart break) I knew I had all the reason to shop for new ones! That's when InkJoy came into my life.

What I'm in love with about the InkJoys is ... well, everything! I have yet to come across anything that I do not actually like about these gel pens. They write very smooth, with hardly any missing. I haven't even had any smudging issues yet. They also look just as pretty as they write. They have this girly cute adorable round-ish look about them. I don't like pens that have the sharp-ish looks and you may declare me crazy after saying that. And the best part is the colors! So bright, so vibrant, and so many!!! I mean, just look at all those beautiful shades!!!

I can't wait to get to use these in my scrapbook! They're so awesome they're getting me all motivated to find out time and get to scrapbooking and journaling soon. I compiled a video to show off how smooth these are and all the many beautiful colors they come in. I think I have finally found my forever-gel pens. Forever-gel pens is a thing, I promise.
