The Wacky Finds Series ~ Volume 1

Drum rolls! Applause please! I am beginning a new series of entries today!! The Wacky Finds Series! Doesn't that header look awesome? Has to be, Abbie helped me design it! When my awesome self steps out of my bed each morning I meet a world of crazies. People, things, phenomena, and acts of nature which are simply too unusual to miss and not record! The Wacky Finds Series will cover all the weird stuff that I find along my way; good weird, awkward weird, bad weird, I-totally-don't-get-this weird .. all kinds of weird shall be recorded and snapped without any discrimination!

Let's begin with my sort-of recent trip to a new cafe that Mama, Abbie, & I (The Ladies) discovered on one of our Ladies' Dates. Outside the cafe I found THIS strange plant! I mean, what is that?!
To me it looks like some colored part of Davy Jones's beard!
See ... there is a resemblance, no?

Okay! Move on to my trips to the grocery store (usually forced trips because I'd rather be a single Shlumpadinka watching Netflix, ensconced in my Harry Potter Plush Blanket). I usually find something weird and wacky on each trip! For starters, let's look at these crazy looking stuff from the fresh produce section!
WHAT is that on the top left?! They looked like bugs to me and when I hesitantly touched them they were prickly! Eew! Creepy! And who knew something called a cactus pear existed?
Top left is super tiny baby pineapples! These were creepily cute!
But I absolutely failed to understand what that was on the top right! Somehow it reminded me of the ant eater from a really old cartoon we used to watch back when I was really young, except that the ant eater was blue!

Next up, I received this in my email! Cats are cute and all, but I couldn't understand any reason for this cat to be doing this in this situation. How many this this this in this sentence?

Last, but not the least! My FAVORITE wacky find .. these REALLY CRAZY EGGS! I totally would have bought them had I come up with even a single good reason to use them!

  1. Bestie, at the end of these entries invite readers to do their own Wacky Finds and make it a link up to your blog's Wacky Finds Series. I'll do the first link up!
