Thoughts on Hagrid's New Roller Coaster - After I Have Ridden It!

We had almost given up and were heading to catch the Hogwarts Express to travel to Diagon Alley when a lady, dressed in WW uniform, said, "Hagrid's Motorbike! Sixty minutes, now open! Lines through this way!" Abbie looked at me and I looked at Abbie. SIXTY MINUTES?! Really? The past few days we had kept checking and had only found three to four hours long wait times. Sixty minutes was totally awesome!

We rushed to where the lady had pointed the lines started, excitement in our steps, and only two concerns on our minds ... First, we had given up when we'd been told Hagrid's wasn't open and had instead gotten ourselves a frozen Butterbeer to gulp down. Would we be able to finish it and digest it in time to ride the coaster? We certainly didn't want to hurl! And we feared we'd start getting the urge to pee mid line! Hahahaha! Second, HOW were we even planning to survive the coaster? The two human beings on planet earth who did not do coasters at all! ...

Hagrid's Magical Motorbike Adventure has to be the CRAZIEST thing I have ever done in all of my life so far! A person who doesn't ride roller coasters because she's a scaredy cat. A person who stays away from anything scary. THAT person! Yes, that very person decided one day that she just had to ride Hagrid's new coaster. I knew it was extra high speed. I knew it was very twisty and turny. But I also knew it was Harry Potter and definitely an experience I couldn't afford to miss!

So what happened to me on the coaster?
Did I like it? Did I not like it?
Did it scare me? Did it not scare me?
Today, I'm talking about it all!!!

I RODE HAGRID'S MAGICAL CREATURES MOTORBIKE ADVENTURE!
No no, that's it, that's all I said. I rode that magical roller coaster. Period.
This is in itself a miracle! Hahahahahaha! I was so so so scared, so very nervous, I was shaking. I kept looking at Abbie and joking out loud about how I thought I wouldn't even make it. Abbie was actually pretty chill. She kept telling me it couldn't be that bad and that we would be fine. I was surprised at how not scared she was ...

The wait time for the ride turned out to be longer than we expected. It was certainly not one hour long. We were in line for about two and a half hours during which I tortured myself by imagining how terribly scary the coaster could turn out to be. And then it was finally time ...

I made my way first because Abbie had decided she wanted the motorbike. I went in the side car and sat myself in, feeling a crazy adrenaline rush such that suddenly I was excessively excited and ready to take on whatever was about to happen to me ...

The next few minutes were the craziest of my life. Hagrid's Magical Motorbike Adventure shook me inside and out! Hahahahahaha! In a good way! I think that day even my heart rattled inside my chest bouncing all around inside. WHAT WAS THIS!? The speed was insane. The twists and turns and climbs and falls were many! Over the lake I was thrown on to my side such that I thought an inch more and they'd rather just turn me upside down! It was so unbelievable what was happening to me and there was no sense left in me to try and process whatever it was. You know what? I WAS HAVING FUN! I was enjoying this terrifying experience!!! My mouth was wide open (my jaw hurt so bad later!), I had the hugest smile on my face, my eyes were at their largest possible size, my heart was screaming ... I was screaming at the top of my lungs!!! THIS WAS BRILLIANT!!!

The wind blew in my face as I swooshed through! I waved at Hagrid, risking my entire life by letting go of my grip on the side car! Hahahaha! My heart fell and bumped against my back when the coaster sped up! My heart squished against my rib cage as the coaster dropped backwards and sped up again! My heart fell inside my stomach at the drop after Devil's Snare. My heart was having TOO much fun and my heart was VERY scared! Does that make any sense? Hahaha!

Now I'd been so scared because I thought I would die and won't be able to handle the ride. Remember Abbie? Who was all chill and saying how bad could it be? Yes, that Abbie. Guess what? She freaked BIG time! Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! I cannot stop laughing!!! I looked at her once we were past the Hagrid stage where he stands with his Blast Ended Skrewt and she was just ... throughout the ride she was lying on her motorbike instead of sitting up! Hahahaaaaaaaaaa! She didn't even see the Cornish Pixies on Mr. Weasley's car! She was freaked! Absolutely and completely freaked at the speed and the twisting and the turning. She even got a runny nose!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I just cannot stop laughing! She was acting super confident in line like I was freaking out for no reason and look what happened!!! Hahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! I mean, her NOSE was running! She couldn't stay sitting up! She didn't even see the pixies! Hahahahahahaaaaaaa! I swear, it's been so long and I still cannot stop laughing at what I witnessed!!!

Oooooooooh dear, my tummy hurts!
Hagrid's Motorbike has definitely become one of the major highlights of my life. Like I said, it is one of the most craziest experiences I have had for I have never ridden something as fast and scary as this coaster ever! Was I scared? YES. Definitely. But I had so much fun - it was worth the long wait times and most certainly worth risking my life for! Hahahahahaha! That's what it feels like to a person who doesn't do coasters! Will I do it again? I think so? I know I would want to but would I brave it one more time if I ever got shorter wait times? That's something only time will tell! BUT I do know one thing for sure ... ABBIE MAY NOT WANT TO DO IT AGAIN!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAAA!!!! She actually came out saying she will not do that again! Hahahahahaaaaaaa! Her nose ran! Hahahahahaha ...
