Ahhhh ... it's already been a couple weeks since my existence began its twenty eighth awesome year on this planet and I still feel all birthday-ish. It's like a hangover that won't leave. And why shouldn't it be that way, really? My birthday was, after all, super fun and amazing! Previously, I wrote about all the birthday happenings that went on all day. From my delicious chocolaty breakfast to the junk food style lunching, movie, and the most relaxing afternoon - I talked about it all. I left it at my beautiful donuts themed birthday party, when I got to blow the candles and cut my cake amidst adorable decor arranged by my darling Abbie. So that's what I'm showing off today!
Abbie threw me the Donuts themed birthday party of my dreams! Adorable, cute, girly, and full of chocolate and candy and sprinkles and all that good stuff. She made the most beautiful cake with a stack of donuts atop a rich heavenly chocolate glaze that dripped all the way down to chunky Fruity Pebbles. It was chocolate inside and was filled with Fruity Pebbles and - dramatic pause - chunks of MARS BARS! My most favorite chocolate everrrrrrrrrrrrr. Here's presenting the gorgeous and extremely delicious CHUNKY DONUTS BIRTHDAY CAKE by the best sister in the entire universe!
Colorful. Girly. Adorable. Gorjabulous.
Bonus: Chocolaty and loaded with a stack of donuts.
Saraallie has arrived in heaven. Thank you very much!
Abbie decorated my birthday display with alllllll of my birthday cards! I show off the birthday cards in more detail in my post where I show off my 28th Birthday AwesomeBoard. Pictured above from right to left are cards from Chunky, Gubby, and Abbie. The one with the oldies at the bottom is also from Abbie. She also gifted me the adorable trinket box with hugging cacti on it and got a matching one for herself too. I got those adorable note pads too along with the cutest Donut mug in the world!
My heartttttttttttt melts at how adorable everything is!!!
Abbie made a faux version of the popular Donut Walls by putting up pictures of donuts on her chalkboard. I loved it! I have been in love with the concept of donut walls and this was like getting my own without having to deal with the calories of real donuts! Hahahahahaha! Oh and check that out right behind the donuts and the stunning cake ...
She got a hugeeeeeee sized birthday cake to hang in the background! I love it so much I actually thought of hanging it in my room somewhere! Hahahahaha! It's so cute and so big and soooooooooo fun!
My birthday balloon was a colorful affair and it took us some effort to get it too thanks to the helium shortage complain all the stores paste on our face when we go and ask for a balloon to be filled up.
Even my candle was a donut! I mean, how adorable can it possibly get!?
Abbie gifted me a pink ceramic mini Eiffel Tower! I visited the Eiffel Tower when I was a kid and I regret not being an adult back then, with my own camera and all. I love the way it is associated with love and all kinds of cheesy stuff and I think it was the perfect addition to have in my beautifully girly bedroom!
Mama got me, not one, but THREE birthday cards! Love how girly and glittery they were!
My little Gubbzy Bubs made this for me! Her Nani helped her draw it and then she colored it and decorated it and framed it for me! This is so awesome! A Rickshaw!!! I love it!!! And it's signed by Maryam too! Hahaha! Brilliant!
My twenty eighth birthday was full of love and lots of sugary stuff! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect birthday, honestly! Abbie knew exactly how to make me happy - the gifts, the cards, the cake, the food, the treats, the love, the decor ... PERFECT!
You know, Abbie isn't just the best sister in the universe ... she's the best sister that God ever even planned on creating. You know what I mean? Like, God mustn't even have planned a better sister, let alone create one!
I'm such a blessed person *wipes happy tears* ... Happy twenty eighth to me!
