Zappy Hogwarts Choir Performances

"The most magical Yule Ball of aaalllll .. the most magical Yule Ball of aw-all ..."

Oh, you're all here already?
Wow, I didn't even notice.
I was busy singing my most favorite song by the Hogwarts Choir at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando! Their zappy performances every now and then fill Hogsmeade's air with even more magic. They make everything happy and merry and bright! Especially, around the Holiday season - which is my most favorite time to visit the parks! It is also my most favorite time to enjoy the Hogwarts's Choir's performances as they come up with special Hogwartsy holiday songs!

I love love love watching the Hogwarts Choir perform! I always find myself paying extra attention to how each one of the choir's members is different. It fascinates me. Someone's a little extra hyped, someone is just normal and happy and contained, someone is composed and someone is going absolutely crazy jumping around with extra enthusiasm. They're all so different and yet they're all connected with one thing: the love of Harry Potter! Their existence, their presence speaks for how true a fan they are. It shows on their faces that they're not just there doing it as a job ... they are there for the POTTERVERSE!!!

Every little while later, they make their way to the stage area near Hogwarts which is around the place where the Hogsmeade snowman is and then they give an awesome performance. Like I said, my favorite performances are those around the Holiday season. I love listening to The Most Magical Yule Ball of All! I think it has to be my favorite favorite favorite song! Also Double Double Toil and Trouble! On my most recent trip there I noticed they sang a new song called 'Cast a Spell on Father Christmas' and it was so cool!

Each member of the choir is from each one of the four Hogwarts houses and they are dressed to show their house pride. They perform in a cappella style kind of way but what's super cool about them is that they're holding these giant sized frogs seated on cozy comfy cushions. The frogs 'sing' in their bass like deep croaky voice which becomes such an awesome musical background score. You know I fell in love with the frogs so much that I brought home my very own Hogwarts Choir Frog plush from my last visit there. I will show it off later right here on the blog, of course! Sadly, it doesn't sing but it does croak like a normal frog! Hahaha! I look at the frog now and just one glance at it takes me back to the Wizarding World, the choir's songs start playing in my head, I can feel the magical air around me again, and I can feel Hogwarts's shadow breaking through the Florida sun ... instantly. It's like my portal back to the parks! And then I start singing 'the most magical Yule ball of aaaallll ... the most magical Yule ball of aw-alllllll' ...

The performances by the Hogwarts choir are something everyone should definitely experience and enjoy when they visit the Wizarding World. It's always a treat to get a break from all the craziness of the rides and their long lines. Abbie and I often grab ourselves something to eat or drink and then go and sit near the stage area to enjoy the performance. They even open it up for picture opportunities in the end but that is something I haven't yet done. Anyhoooo ... they're brilliant
Someone take me back please?
