Our Beautiful Ramadan 2019 Decor

When Chunky's birthday decorations came off the kitchen counter at the end of April, it was time to put up Ramadan decor. Some beautiful pieces from last year, some new decorations, a new set of Ramadan countdown packets, and my Ramadan baking made this year's decor stunningly beautiful. I know I say this every year, but seriously, this year's decor was just too beautiful - possibly our best Ramadan decor so far maybe. It was just perfect and created the most beautiful Ramadan vibes in our home!

Decor was entirely Abbie's beautiful work this year. She bought the gorgeous pieces, she planned it all, and she put it together in this stunning presentation. This year we finally finally bought ourselves a light box. Abbie and I had eyes on this since ages and she finally spotted one she loved and brought it home. Our first display, #Ramadan2019, looked so funky and pretty on it. Abbie even added the pizza emojis! Hahaha! She also indulged in the new Ramadan decorations at Party City this year. Last year the store had gone out of stock on these so we'd missed out. This year, we got to plan ahead and Abbie brought these stunning pieces home. Check out the beautiful moon and Masjid decoration piece behind the light box. The glitter details, the smoothness, and the shine ... I just love it.

Last year's super awesome Ramadan craft, this beautiful Masjid decor by Abbie the great, made its appearance up and center this year too. This is my favorite. I love that Abbie made this so colorful and funky and those pop out clouds are so cute! Extra points for spotting Abbie's cactus in the background. His name is Grindelwald - yes, we're Potterheads, what else do you expect?

Abbie and I put our heads together and made these countdown candy packets for Ramadan. This was another one of Abbie's brilliant ideas last year and we've decided to do it this year too. Our packets this year included Twix, Kitkats of three kinds, Three Musketeers, Milky Way, and Snickers. Also taking into consideration allergies we packed Lindt dark chocolate for SIL and cinnamon donut biscuits and Brittania heart cookies for Chunky! These were such fun to pack. And they've been even more fun to open up every night at Iftar time. It's a treat to find out which chocolate we'd get every night! Gubby loves doing it with us while we record it on Snapchat.

My contribution to every year's decor are stunning Ramadan cookies. This year my New Moon cookies were in a vibrant shade of bright green. I'll be showing these off in detail later. Oh and I still haven't come up with a name for them but I created seriously gorjabulous cookies with pom poms and all too. You'll see more of these on my blog later, in super details!

Our lanterns! The big gorgeous one is Abbie's Moroccan lantern. The medium blue one is a lit up lantern we got for Gubby last year. And now ....

The new smallest addition to our lantern family. This one just joined us this year, for Chunky darling! Hahahaha! Isn't it adorable?

We also added these absolutely beautiful string lights to our decor this year. Stars and moons in a vibrant shiny metallic gold. It's beautiful and I think we'll be using this one for more than just Ramadan decor. So pretty!

This year Abbie even brought in a Ramadan kitchen menu board. The picture above is from the very beginning of Ramadan. Sehri menu, Iftari menu, dessert, and the After Iftar section ... so cool! "Iftar ke baad" hahahaha! I think this was a super cool idea!

Over on the wall next to the counter where we had our beautiful decor, we put up some more gorgeous decorations from Party City. SERIOUSLY love Party City for coming up with these. They are gorgeous. We had our little Eid countdown running and the beautiful Ramadan decoration. Abbie even decorated the fridge! Check it out ...

We sure do Ramadan decor GOOOOOOD, don't we?

Ramadan is almost coming to an end by the time I have finally found the time to show off our decor on my blog. *Rolls eyes* That's how busy it has been for me. Our candy packets are almost coming to an end too, with just the last row remaining. Our Eid countdown has gone down to single digit numbers and our tummies have become a puddle of Sehris and Iftaris piling one on top of the other! Hahaha! Can't wait for Eid now ... hope it is awesome and full of fun (and great food!)!
