How desperately the world has waited for you to arrive.
No hard feelings there 2020, but you were a meanie to us all.
Seriously, what happened to 2020? The awful virus shut down our entire world!
I'm not saying my year was entirely horrible but it devastated so many and took so many lives, it just cannot be forgiven nor forgotten. For me, 2020 was all about big life changes. Really BIG actually. It seemed like my entire world changed by the time 2020 came to an end. You know what though? There's something that remained unchanged - ME! I'm still the same old me, but definitely improved and upgraded! Hahaha! And here I am to wish the world a very very very happy new year!
May 2021 be the year the world heals. May 2021 be the year of peace and happiness and good health. May we find ways to banish the pathetic virus from our precious lives forever and for good. I wish good health for those who are sick. I wish healing for those who lost someone they knew. I wish patience for those who have followed the rules and halted their lives to make the world safer for all. I wish brains for those who decided they would pretend the virus did not exist. I wish a good rest for those who cared for those affected. I wish for a happy 2021 for EVERYONE! (except the haters ... I don't like you, sorry.)
Grab 2021, shake it real hard, look it in the eye, and tell it that it better be good to us all!
