Happy Potterific July 2019 Potterheads!

July has begun and today I declare the official celebration of the Harry Potter fandom! I do it every year (last year being the one when I opened it up to Potterheads all around the globe) and I'm doing it again this year too. It is just my way of honoring the best fandom in the universe, a fandom that has proven to be a big support in my life. Harry Potter and its fans have lifted me whenever I needed lifting, brightened my life whenever a dull moment occurred, and shown love whenever hopelessness prevailed. Harry Potter isn't just some story anymore - Harry Potter is my lifestyle, my lifeline, my life support system. It is how I unwind, it is how I destress, it is how I feel accepted and emotionally supported and liked and loved. The Harry Potter fandom is like family ... and in July, when Harry and JK Rowling celebrate their birthdays, I celebrate this glorious family, this beautiful bond, this timeless tale.

This year, on popular demand, I have brought back my Potterific July Instagram Photo Challenge. I hope it is bigger and even more awesome-er this year than the last one. Thirty one days of Potter themed pictures based on the challenge's prompts. It was mindblowingly amazing last time and this year too, I am sure, we'll all have a blast on Insta! In addition to the challenge I will be doing all kinds of Potter stuff on my blog too. Throughout the month I will be showing off some new merch I have added to my Potter collection. I'll be discussing the books and movies and sharing my favorite quotes and moments and other opinions and thoughts. It will be a LOT of fun and I am super excited!!!
